When I decided to volunteer for a worthy cause, I never imagined that volunteering would turn into a second career. Because of this, I have had the honour of meeting some of the most memorable and humorous seniors who aren't afraid to voice their opinions about anything…anything! My main purpose for writing my book is to promote volunteerism and perhaps my stories will serve as a guide on how empathy, compassion and even humour can help in providing solace to those in need.
